Ischia is the largest island in the Gulf of Naples, it has volcanic origins and it’s divided into six municipalities: Barano d’Ischia, Casamicciola Terme, Forio, Ischia, Lacco Ameno, Serrara Fontana.
Well known for its spas, it’s nicknamed "The island of health" or "The island of eternal youth".
The Romans were already aware of the qualities of the healing water of Cava Scura, and did not disdain the invigorating "sweat baths" on the island.
Ischia offers an extremely picturesque and verdant landscape with natural beauties that offer curiosities to discover and appreciate in every corner: sunken craters, rocky spikes, lava hills in a splendid scenery in continuous evolution, modified by volcanic activity, where the green plunges and is reflected in the blue of the deep sea.
